Our Company

1. Does Anyotherday service vehicles at private residences?

We keep our prices competitive by efficiently servicing our participating companies' employees in optimized service windows. If you would like to schedule our service at your private residence we would charge our published rates plus an additional $15 service fee.

We do service vehicle fleets. Please visit our fleet service page emore information.

3. Is Anyotherday fully insured?
Yes.

 
Corporate Clients

1. I would like to schedule an Anyotherday service but my company is not listed as a participating company?
We require permission from each company to perform our services for their employees. If your company is not listed please ask your human resources department to contact us to arrange services.

2. How often will Anyotherday be at my company for services?
We will be at your company about every other week for services.We continually update our scheduling system to optimize the frequency of our visits to each company to provide the most convenience. You can view actual times on our website during the scheduling process.

3. Why do I need to register on the website to schedule services?
We require registration on our website in order to maintain your vehicle records.

4. How do I pay for services?
We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment. During scheduling, you will enter your credit card information and at the completion of the service your credit card will be charged.

5. What if I need to reschedule my service?
We maintain a 1 day online cancellation policy. If you need to cancel within 1 days of your service, you may do so by contacting us. Cancellations or “noshows” on the day of the service will be charged a rescheduling fee.

 
Fleet Clients

1. Does Anyotherday provide full repair services in addition to mobile automotive maintenance ?
We provide complete repair services offsite at our location in Redwood City. We can arrange to have your fleet vehicle picked up for service or diagnosis and returned the same day.

2. What is Anyotherday's service schedule for fleets?
We offer services 7 days a week, from 5:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. We coordinate our service visits according to your fleet downtime, whether on the weekend, during your technician meetings, or early in the morning before your fleet leaves.

3. Can Anyotherday service all my vehicles and equipment?
Anyotherday services most vehicles and equipment including, light duty and medium duty trucks, diesel vehicles, passenger vehicles and off-highway vehicles including auxilliary engines, chippers, welders, tractors, forklifts, etc.

4. Do you offer payment terms for fleets?
We offer Net 30 billing terms for all of our fleets.

5. Can Anyotherday provide references?
We currently maintain approximately 2,000 fleet vehicles for 75 fleet companies across the greater bay area. Please contact us if you are interested in services and we can provide you with references.

6. Does Anyotherday work with fleet management companies for billing?
Yes. We are a preferred service provider for Enterprise Fleet, ARI, GE Fleet Leasing, among others.

 
Our Services

1. What services does Anyotherday offer?

In addition to our mobile automotive maintenance services, Anyotherday offers full repair services offsite at our location in Redwood City. Services include basic maintenance, brake services, tune ups, scheduled maintenance or any other repair you might be interested in.

2. How are Anyotherday services comparable to quick lube outlets such as Jiffy Lube©?
We use only the highest quality products according to manufacturer's recommendations. Our service includes a comprehensive multi-point check by our certified lube technicians to ensure proper vehicle maintenance. What we offer that Jiffy Lube© doesn't is increased convenience.

3. How long does an Anyotherday service take?
Our corporate services take approximately 30 minutes. However, our scheduling occurs in service windows. A service window is 4 hours (morning / afternoon), during which we will be at your company performing services. We will call you during the service window to retrieve your keys and will call you to pick up the keys once we finish the service on your vehicle. For our fleet clients, we can service between 10 and 15 services in a two hour period.

4. Will Anyotherday service my vehicle if it is raining?
Our lube vehicles are equipped to offer services in most weather conditions. If we determine certain weather conditions will prohibit us from performing our services you will be notified.

5. How do you get my keys to perform the service?
We will contact you when we arrive at your company to ask you to meet us downstairs to confirm the services ordered and to retrieve your vehicles' keys. At your option, you can also leave your keys at the receptionist. At the completion of the service, we will contact you again to review the completed services and to return your keys to you. For our fleet clients, we can receive keys directly from your employees or from one contact person.

6. Does Anyotherday reset engine oil lights?
We do reset engine oil lights according to manufacturer's specifications.

 
Vehicle Maintenance & Warranty

1. How often should I change my oil?
In the real world, the vast majority of drivers operate their automobiles under what is often called "severe driving conditions". If you operate your car under severe conditions, it is important that you follow your car manufacturer's recommendations for service intervals, often suggesting oil changes every 3,000 miles or 3 months.

2. Is the warranty on my new car valid if Anyotherday services my vehicle?
Sometimes consumers think they must replace filters or other parts with the dealer brand in order to keep their warranty. This is not true. The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, a federal law, states that a manufacturer may not require the use of any brand of filter or other article unless the manufacturer provides the item free of charge under the terms of the warranty. An Anyotherday service will maintain your new car warranty.

3. What kind of engine oil does Anyotherday use?
We use Chevron lubricant products according to manufacturer's recommendations to perform our services.

4. What if I don't know if I need a new air filter or windshield wiper blade?
During your lube service, our lube technicians will inspect your air filter and windshield wiper blade condition. If our lube technicians determine you are in need of a replacement they will contact you regarding our pricing.

 
Environmental Awareness

1. What precautions does Anyotherday take to reduce the chance of oil spillage during service?
We use oil absorbent ground tarps, oversized oil drip containers and a unique customer vehicle to Anyotherday van pumping system which eliminates the possibility of spillage.

2. How does Anyotherday dispose of waste oil?
We contract with a licensed recycler to reuse all waste oil and other hazardous products in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Please read about our commitment to the environment on our Environmental Awareness page.
